Presented to a capacity audience, Songs About Home was an evening of music, songs and spoken word. The event was staged as part of Home on the Grange to enable the audience of community members to listen and hear in the music and words notions and themes about home, homelessness and creative home-making that are emerging as we continue to collaborate with the inhabitants of the unique and diverse Grangegorman neighbourhood.

Performers included Mary and the PigeonsSusannah de wrixon, Ciaran Crilly, the DeCourcey String Quartet (leader Philip Dodd), and choir Mellow Tonics(director Norah Walsh). 

Songs About Home was curated by Emmett Scanlon. Musical arrangements by Mary Barnecutt, Norah Walsh and Naoise Dack. Original texts by Nathan O Donnell and Emmett Scanlon.
